POM service description for the MESI mTABLET 

1. What is the POM plan? 

The Peace Of Mind (POM) plan is an optional yearly service plan for the MESI mTABLET. It provides software updates and extended hardware protection for registered mTABLET devices for a predictable annual fee. 

POM is available when purchasing an eligible mTABLET device and applies only to mTABLET devices covered under the agreement. 

 2. What’s included 

2.1 Software updates 

During the active POM period, customers receive: 

  • Software updates for the mTABLET 

  • Firmware updates for compatible connected modules 

2.2 Extended mTABLET warranty coverage 

POM extends the standard warranty coverage of the registered mTABLET device for as long as the plan remains active. 

This applies to normal use conditions and follows the general warranty limitations defined in our warranty policy. 

Important: 
Hardware warranty for diagnostic modules (e.g. ABI, ECG,…) is not covered by POM.  
They remain protected by their standard 2-year warranty unless separately extended. 

2.3 Replacement in case of failure (warranty claim) 

If a covered MESI mTABLET failure is confirmed, the customers with an active POM are entitled to: 

  • A replacement mTABLET device, which will be dispatched within 2 business days after warranty claim validation 

  • Delivery timing may vary depending on shipping conditions and location 

This does not apply in cases of: 

  • misuse or damage 

  • unauthorized modification 

  • environmental or other external causes 

 3. Plan duration and payments 

  • POM terms start on the date of signature of the Agreement.  

  • Standard commitment for the POM service plan: 3 years 

Payment options:  

  • Upfront for 3 years 

  • Yearly instalments 

  • Optional commitment: 5 years (commercial terms apply) 

After the initial standard 3-year period, the POM plan can be continued/renewed on a yearly basis. Continuation is subject to applicable commercial terms in effect at the time of renewal. 

Important limitation: 
Extended hardware warranty coverage for the mTABLET device under POM cannot exceed a total coverage period of five (5) years from the original device purchase date. If POM continues beyond this period, hardware warranty coverage no longer applies, while other included service components remain active. 

POM must be added at the time of tablet purchase unless otherwise agreed.
