Packaging operator

Job Position Description

• preparation of packaging materials;

• packaging of products for stock in accordance with work orders and instructions;

• preparation of final packages (commercial/commodity packages);

• assembly of products into final form for sale;

• control/verification – checking quantities, batches/lots, expiry dates, correctness of items, etc.;

• labelling activities – preparation of labels, label printing, applying labels to boxes/packaging;

• data entry into the information system (ERP) – confirmation of material consumption, posting/recording production orders, batch/LOT records, traceability;

• visual inspection of packaging (damage, cleanliness, compliance with instructions);

• preparation of products and documentation for shipment;

• handling deviations – reporting nonconformities and errors in labelling or materials;

• maintaining order, cleanliness and tidiness at the workplace and proper handling of materials;

• performing work in compliance with quality requirements (e.g. ISO 13485), hygiene and ESD requirements;

• other work according to the instructions of the superior.
